The software industry has witnessed explosive growth over the past several years as a result of several technology trends that uniquely supported software. Today, the market is being shaped by two broad trends – changing expectations as a result of macroeconomic uncertainty and the disruptive potential of generative AI – which in many ways are polar opposites, but are also jointly creating a set of imperatives for technology companies. In this session we will explore how these trends are uniquely affecting the software industry and how other successful software companies are adapting their strategies to best take advantage and create value.
Generative AI represents opportunities for transformational innovation across all industries, and within every line of business of an organization. Leaders who think strategically about integrating AI into existing workstreams will increase organizational agility and operational excellence while simultaneously spearheading new use cases. Attend this session to learn how you can use Generative AI capabilities to transform user experience for your product, expand the target personas that your product can address, and create new revenue streams.
Businesses want to unleash the value of data to increase agility, drive innovation, and improve efficiency. While data is abundant and growing rapidly, just producing a lot of it doesn’t automatically create value. Value is realized by creating a culture and operating model that use the data to invent on behalf of customers using insights, analytics, and AI/ML. However, cultural challenges, outdated governance models, organizational silos, and legacy execution approaches stand in the way of realizing this vision. This session will address the Database, Analytics, and AI/ML challenges faced by software companies and digital businesses by focusing on innovative data solutions, best practice sharing among peers, and support needed from AWS.
Join this session to gain insights into the software trends we think will most impact software company product and technology officers in the next 18-36 months. Fast delivery and efficient operation of differentiated software products and services are the lifeblood of a successful software company. But delivering both is easier said than done: The relentless evolution of cloud, web, and disruptive technologies such as generative AI means that today's compelling features can quickly become tomorrow's table-stakes managed service or open source framework. Software company CPOs and CTOs can't afford to build everything from scratch, but must balance the value of 3rd party dependencies against the risk they bring. Join us to learn where your peers are moving and how to balance strategic investments across thousands of 3rd party products, cloud services and open source frameworks in sustainable ways.
Meet fellow executives and AWS leaders at the legendary Bellagio for this exclusive event. The hotel and casino combines Old World elegance with modern luxuries in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip. The Tuscan-themed resort transports guests to the Vegas version of the famous town on Italy’s Lake Como – complete with an iconic eight-acre lake and dazzling fountain display.
Following the executive breakout sessions, enjoy a private reception at James Beard award-recipient Executive Chief Julian Serrano's Picasso. The acclaimed New French eatery celebrates regional cuisine of Spain and France. A feast for the eyes as well, Picasso features a collection of the artist’s masterworks and overlooks the Bellagio Fountains.
